In 19th century Italy, the gift of fine Italian craftsmanship in jewelry was passed from father to son, from master craftsman to apprentice. North Hollywood is fortunate, because 60 years ago this tradition took root right on Lankershim Boulevard
with Altobelli Jewelers. Over the
decades, Altobelli became a leader in civic
involvement and community development. He
participated in the Lankershim Village Project
to revivify the historic community created in the
19th century by the Lankershim and Van Nuys
families .
His services are now located on Riverside Drive.

2001, the National Jeweler Magazine awarded Mr.
Altobelli with “Retailer Hall of Fame.”
Now Mr. Altobelli continues his
services from an office suite in Toluca Lake where
he performs appraisals, services watches, and
continues to act as an expert witness in cases all
over the United States. |
